Straight Wall Buildings

Straight wall metal buildings are perfect for use in multiple applications. Toro carries several different styles of straight wall buildings, each with unique traits to suit your specific needs. These structures are available with clear-span frames, allowing you to have an unobstructed interior, multi-span frames that feature interior bearings, and lean-to frames which serve as excellent additions to existing structures.

These designs are perfect for use as arenas, hangars, garages, warehouses, farm structures such as barns and storage for crops, livestock housing, and more.

Clear-Span Frames

This style of frame is used primarily when an unobstructed interior is required. It is ideal for creating equestrian arenas, indoor soccer centres, ice rinks, pools, aircraft hangars, warehouses and more. They don’t have interior column supports, creating free space to store items, operate machinery, and house recreational facilities.

This style of structure features straight sidewalls and a slightly sloped roof. It is available in sizes ranging from 15’ (4.57m) – 120’ (36.57m) wide, and heights from 8’ (2.43m) – 60’ (18.28m).

Single Slope, Tapered Column Frame

This structure features a slightly sloped roof and tapered columns. It is available in widths of 15’ (4.57m) – 120’ (36.57m) and heights of 8’ (2.43m) – 60’ (18.28m).

Double Slope, Straight Column Frame

This structure features tapered columns and a double slope roof. It is available in widths of 30’ (9.14m) – 200’ (60.96m) and heights of 8’ (2.43m) – 60’ (18.28m).

Multi-Span Frames

A steel building with a multi-span frame works best in structures where unobstructed space is not required and utilizing an interior bearing is feasible. Additionally, for structures with a span of more than 100’ (30.48m), installing an interior bearing can help to reduce overall building costs. For all of these frame styles, the interior columns can be spaced from 30’ (9.14m) – 100’ (30.48m) apart.

Long Bay

Installing an open web truss subframe will allow you to install mechanical and electrical systems easily while providing roof support. This can create up to 65’ (19.81m) of unobstructed interior space.

Lean-To Frame

This style of frame is often used to expand or extend an existing structure. They can provide additional space, such as an office or storage area. It will need to be supported by attaching it to the existing frame.
